Music & Drama

Music

People of all ages, from young children through senior adults, are encouraged to participate in choral and (as God provides!) iinstrumental groups. Whether it is young boys and girls learning about their place in God's world, or youth and adults serving as worship leaders, there is an opportunity for all through the music ministry. There are currently four choirs that meet weekly:

Adult Choir - Wednesdays, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., Choir Room
Children's Music - Is currently integrated with our Children's programs (currently "Pandamania") on Wednesday night at 6:30 pm. This comprehensive approach includes not only music, but Bible memory, crafts, games and snacks. If you would be willing to help in this ministry, please contact Beverly Honaker.
Praise Band / Team - Wednesdays, from 8:00 to 9:30 p.m., Sanctuary

Drama

Using skits, plays, musicals and other drama sources, we will present the gospel in a variety of ways to hone people's relationship with God. Recently we have shared "Experiencing God, the Musical" and "Jesus, Wonderful Treasure" to help people have a greater understanding about the relationship that He wants for us through Jesus.

There are many purposes for the Music and Dramatic Arts Ministry. Some of our most important ones are listed below:

to glorify God to encourage and edify the church to present the message of salvation to serve as a companion to the ministry of the preaching of God's Word
to develop our skills
